چکیده
This study aimed at the assessment and monitoring of digital image quality parameters resulting from use portable X-ray equipment in clinical examinations. A multicentric was conducted for images produced using NOMAD® with DIGORA® ™ Optime UV computed radiography (CR) system. The evaluated terms high- low-contrast spatial resolution, contrast noise ratio (CNR), signal-to-noise (SNR). samples comprised six biomaterials: zirconia (Zr), lyophilized bone (LB), photopolymerizable restorative resin (PRR), glass ionomer cement (GIC), GIC (GICP), double adhesive (DARC). DICOM (processed pixels) raw data (without processing) were quantitatively analyzed. qualitative visual analysis performed an adequately illuminated environment then repeated equivalent to that a practice conventional equipment. relative biomaterial normalized by high-contrast result Zr. Zr demonstrated no because standard deviation pixel mean zero. In contrast, SNR biomaterials DARC result. CNR values according different aluminum thicknesses 0.11 LB 0.3–0.35 PRR, GIC, GICP. resolution identical both high-resolution monitors; however, 0.2-s exposure, high-quality monitor increased. control tests indicated compatibility CR system-assisted equipment, verifying status quality.
